Really pleased with our 4 new windows! They are good looking both from inside and out. We were kept well informed of the process by the sales and office team. Our experience with APS has been positive from the initial contact and discussion, through until the final installation. The level of communication and professionalism was impressive. We had some challenges (entirely ours) prior to installation including the need to remove external awnings which proved very difficult! Throughout this time, we felt very supported by APS (especially Nicole) and they were very patient while we resolved this issue. In the end, we are incredibly pleased with the high-quality finished product and the new windows have already made a difference to energy use and temperature regulation. We are happy with the salesperson (Alex) and the windows themselves appear to be of good quality; however, as experienced by others, our windows were installed the wrong way around (had 2 bedrooms done). In addition, there is a chip in the architrave of one of the windows and the company's handling of this has been unsatisfactory (slow to respond, denied it was a chip and recommended sanding the whole architrave down then when I explained it measures 0.5 cm, agreed it was a chip but stated all that they will offer is to fill it in in a couple of weeks time and cannot provide a date as they are short staffed- which is too late for us having ordered blinds to be installed ASAP).

ADDIT: Thank you Team APS for your response - that is correct we accepted the discount. Just to clarify, the concern about the timing re the blinds is because my understanding is we need to sand and paint the timber reveal so we were planning to attempt this before the blinds were installed. Reese and Hudson were prompt and courteous.  They have installed five windows and a sliding door.  The door did not lock properly and they came back the next day to fix it.  APS offered the best price out of three providers.  For us this was a big investment which was necessary due to water leaks and damaged window reveals and alcoves so we were quite nervous but APS have done a great job and left everything neat and tidy.

In the interest of transparency I start this review by stating that I work for APS Double Glazing as the sales manager.
Whilst I know the quality and performance of the product and installation is of a very high standard as I sell them to home owners everyday I have finally got around to installing them in my own house so can now speak from a customer point of view.
My house which is only 4 years old has aluminium double glazed and also single glazed windows as is done in a lot of homes these days.
The single glazing was mainly at the front of the house and main bedroom/ ensuite. These two rooms were the coldest and nosiest rooms in the house as I live on reasonably busy road.
I have now replaced these windows with frames that are black on the outside and white internally. I also upgraded the bedroom windows to acoustic glass. I can honestly say the difference is incredible, can hardly hear the traffic outside and it is now the warmest area of the home even compared to the other areas with aluminium double glazed windows. I will be doing the rest of the home shortly. Also my neighbor saw the windows being installed and contacted the company not knowing that I worked here, they have now ordered windows for their home.
